こちらは友人がイチオシのお店。
元々はパン専門店だったのだが、倉庫街にレストランとカフェが併設されたお店を開店。
Open Tableで2週間前に予約し、金曜の夜に行ったのだが、超満員。
いかにもオシャレに敏感な人たちが来ている。
席にはすぐに案内してくれたが、ウェートレスが足りないのか
注文を聞きに来るまで15分以上待つ。
少しメニューがわかりづらいのだが、分からない部分はウェートレスに尋ねる。
そして注文したのがこちら。

Burrataはモッツァレラのようなチーズ。
これはヨーロッパで食べるものと比べるとイマイチだったが、まぁアメリカしては悪くない。
牛の骨髄焼きや鶏の焼いたのは火が入りすぎて、イマイチ。
一番美味しかったのはパンの上にのっかったタルタルステーキ (Steak Tartare)。
他の料理は至って普通でした。
でもパンは本当に美味しかった。想像していた以上に。
代官山にもお店を開ける予定だったらしいのだが、
オファーされたスペースが狭すぎて断り、他のロケーションを
探していると聞いてからすでに1年ぐらい経つが、
まだ東京には当分お店を開かないだろう。
なのでしばらくはサンフランシスコに来てこちらのパンを食べるしかない。
間違いなくパンは美味しいので。
