北京郊外にある魚介海鮮料理のお店です。
個室に入ると地下の巨大な水槽室へ案内され、そこで料理に使う食材を自分で選び、「蒸す」・「揚げる」・「炒める」などの調理法も選択できるという趣向。平目、ロブスター(?)、なまこ、ホタテ、エビ、ウナギ、ツブ貝などたくさんの水槽が並ぶ光景は、まるで水族館に来たような楽しさがあります。
いろいろ注文しましたが、以下印象に残ったものを何点か…
春雨と鮑の薬膳スープは、味は普通だけど黄色のスープにクコの実の赤が映え、見た目がとても綺麗でした。
大ぶりのカニの煮物は旨味もたっぷりで、日本人の口にも合う味付けでした。
平目は油通しして蒸してあるようですが、やや泥臭い感じで大味かな。以前全聚徳で食べた同様の料理と比べるとかなり違いました。
あと魚介じゃないけれどアヒルの黒酢炒めは香辛料が効いていてスパイシーで美味しかったです。
総じて味は普通でしたけど、自分で食材を選ぶのは楽しかったですね。
また注文しませんでしたが日本食の人気を反映してサーモンの刺身はやはり置いてありました。
