2017年3月20日。バリ島最終日。
この日はバリ島の世界遺産を中心に観光して、夕方にウブド
に戻ってきました〜♪今回のバリ島・最後の晩餐はウブドに
ある『Restaurant Locavore』で頂く事になりました。
(旅行前にネットで予約を入れておきました。)
18時半予約で入店し、奥のテーブル席へ。
店内はやや暗めで落ち着いた良い雰囲気。スタッフの応対も
スマートです。ドレスコードは無いようなもんかなw(でも
それなりの格好で行きましたw)
『Restaurant Locavore』に関してですが、
2016 Asia's 50 Best Restaurants で49位だったと思うの
ですが、2017 Asia's 50 Best Restaurants で22位と一気
にランクアップしていました。驚
(ま、ここの判断基準、未だによく分かりませんがw)
コースメニューですが、ベーシックなコースとベジタリアン
コースがあって、それぞれ5皿か7皿のコースを選べます。
(今回はベッシークなコースの7皿をチョイスしました。)
ちなみにカクテルペアリングってのがあり、料理に合わせた
カクテルを楽しめるのですが、食事の後、空港に直行する身
なので、カクテルは断念してグラスワインのみで攻める事に
しました。泣
ではグラスのスパークリングで乾杯〜♪
まずは変化球のアミューズが順番に運ばれてきましたw
どれも優しい味わいで美味しいです。意外!w(←失礼w)
特にチリシャーベット&トマトにコンソメスープを合わせた
一皿はかなり好みでした。
モダンスパニッシュを掲げる食べログ(日本)の上位店にも
引けをとらないクオリティかも。
これはこの後のメインコースも期待できそうです♪

個人的にはなまずとラムのプレートが好みだったかも。
メイン食材に合わせるソースや盛り付けにも、バリらしさが
出ていて、全体的に暗めの色合いではあるけど見た目もいい
し、味自体もとても満足できる内容でした。
(ワインが進んじゃう系ですw)
あと世界遺産『ジャティルイの棚田』でとれたお米と、64度
の熱を通したduck eggを組み合わせたバリ式TKGもとても
気に入りました~♪
前日『星のやバリ』で頂いた夕食が、和食とバリ料理の融合
という位置づけで考えると、こちらのレストランのジャンル
バリ料理をモダンスパニッシュ風に昇華させた感じかな~?
関西でいえば『FUJIYA1935』や『point』『akordu』など
のベクトルに近い印象を受けました。
ウブドでの最後の晩餐は大満足♪
