チョット高いと言ってもこの日買ったピエモンテ牛のフィオレンティーナ (Tボーン、ポーターハウスのこと) の値段は 38EUR(4,000円)/kg です。日本の黒毛和牛が 20,000〜80,000円/kg もすることを考えれば、1/5〜1/20 ということです。

さて、購入したピエモンテ牛のフィオレンティーナ (Tボーン、ポーターハウスのこと) を 三時間掛けて室温に戻し、軽く塩胡椒を振り、フランス De Byerのフライパンで焼きました。

肉食男子そのまんまの娘婿は、「旨い、うまい!」と言いながら 一枚(500g)をペロッと食べてしまいました。『そうか、娘が牛肉を買おうと言った理由はここにあったのだ』
