昔、食べログもなかった時代。
何とか小樽で良い寿司屋を探して辿り着いたのが、こちらのお店でした。
当時から素晴らしい寿司屋で、その後も小樽といえばこの店が必ず浮かぶほどです。
10年振りくらいでしょうか。相変わらずの人気店でした。
カウンターに案内され、しばらくはお摘みを頂くことに。
定番の岩海苔クラゲから、まずはお刺身を。
線維の太い帆立、子持ちの蝦蛄、最高です。
ニシンは三升漬を載せたりと、食べ方にも工夫が見られます。
少しずつ出してくれるので、種類多く頂けるのが嬉しいところ。
焼き物に移って銀タラを。
西京漬けかと思いきや、何と塩焼き。素材が良さが十分に伝わってきます。
握りはあまり食べない予定だったのですが、
隣席の方のウニ食べ比べの魅力に負けてズルズルと(苦笑)
氷下魚の卵軍艦は他ではなかなか食べられない珍味ですよ。
全てお好みで頂き、かな〜り飲んでも一人1万円弱。
寿司屋通りでガッカリする位なら、少し奮発してでもコチラを選ぶべきです。
接客も良く、カウンターなら周りのお客さんとも打ち解けられます。
やはり私にとっては小樽No.1の店です!
