今回のレビューは、北区赤羽で古から文化人に愛された【すし処 みや古分店】のランチレビューです。(食べログ投稿時3・86)
JR赤羽駅南改札を出て西口へ・・・。そこから歩いて一分もかからない路地奥に今回お世話になった【すし処 みや古分店】があります。
こちらのお店は埼玉県松伏町にある『三笠鮨』の大将に美味しいと教えていただいたお店で、さっそくTELをしランチタイムでお店の予約が取れる日に伺いました。
なにせこちらのお店は創業60年のこよなく文化人から贔屓にされるお店で、AKBの創設者である秋元康氏も絶賛するお店です。
また漫画ゴラク連載「江戸前の旬」のモデルとなった鮨店でも有名ですよね♪
店内は靴を脱いで上がり、足を下ろして寛げるカウンター席で、大将の前での会話のやり取りも楽しみの一つですね♪
ランチタイムはお任せの¥8000と¥10000があり、今回は¥10000(税別)のお任せ、さて何が出てくるのでしょう・・・。

鱧(天草産)とジュンサイ(秋田森岳産)の椀物
三貫目・・・北寄貝(60℃で低温調理)

あ、そうそう私の拘りである寿司のシャリは大きいのが江戸前という事で、大将にお願いしてシャリを大き目で握って頂きました
流石に他の鮨屋の大将が是非にとお勧めするだけの事はある赤羽の老舗鮨屋だけの事はあります。
一貫一貫仕事をされたネタも流石ですが、鮨の主役であるシャリが本当に美味しい♪
少し強めの酢飯が昔ながらの江戸前鮨を彷彿させてくれます。
私はお酒を呑みませんが、日本酒と焼酎の種類も豊富に揃えていて周りの客が鮨とお酒のマリアージュを楽しんでいました。
そして何より侮れないのがCPの高さです(^0^)
確かに都心の予約が取れない3万以上する鮨屋と比べると高級ネタでは少し見劣りしますが技でカバーし、1万前後でこの料理内容は素晴らしいの一言に尽きます。
また、私はお鮨のお任せでしたが、お料理付きのコースでは池波正太郎氏の料理番を務めた今村英雄氏の味を引き継いだ味!
和食と鮨の二本立てを楽しめる大人の隠れ家です。
