食べログアプリの地図だと、少しズレて表示され、迷うかも。祇園アパホテル1階スタバの真向かい。道路をはさんだ反対側・細い路地を入った所。カウンター6席、4 人用テーブル2卓、2階に10 人用の部屋がある。
5000円のコース、酒・聚楽第、エビスをオーダー。コース内容・・・あんこうの肝豆腐・下仁田ネギと鴨の椀物・刺盛り(氷見の寒ブリ、ヒラメ、モンゴイカ)・丸八寸(マナガツオの西京焼き、鱈白子、蟹身、松の実としめじとほうれん草の胡麻和え)・炊合せ(鯛の蕪蒸し)・鯛の蒸し寿司・デザート
全体に華があり、昼のコースに対しても素材が吟味されている。刺し身は肉厚で、椀物のだしと炊合せの銀あんの当たりはハイレベル。
店を出て、帰る際、路地を振り向くと大将がまだ見送っていてくれる。これが京都のおもてなしなのかもしれない。祇園のオススメ割烹 !
