上前津、大津通の裏の通り、ローズコートホテルの向かえを栄に少し歩いた所にある。多分、看板がなければ通り過ぎてしまう。
元々は、昼はランチとお弁当、夜は居酒屋であったが、色々あり相談を受けた大将が寿司屋として店を引き受けることに・・大将は、実家が、元々東京で寿司屋をしていたため中学を卒業する頃には一人前の寿司職人になるほどの腕前。銀座久兵衛にいた事も。
昼は、1500円の握りとチラシ。夜は、5000円と8000円の寿司のみのコース。甘くてシャリの甘い名古屋寿司にウンザリして、名古屋市内の江戸前を色々食べあるいたが、シャリ・ワサビ・ネタのバランスは私の経験値の中では一番 !
5000円コースに生ビール2杯と三千盛 純米酒2合、先付(鮪の中落ち、マコガレイ、ヒラメ、シマアジ)がついてて8500円

マコガレイ・剣先・ヒラメ・シマアジ・赤み・トロ・シンコ・コハダ・アジ・車海老・鳥飼・青柳焼き・穴子・干瓢三貫落とし・玉子焼き
特に絶品は、一週間氷水で熟成させたマクロの赤身とトロ。
東片端の割烹ひじりさん以来の名店の予感。
