11/22(土)に妻と、14:28JR新潟駅発、16:24JR村上駅着、16:53入店、20:16退店、20:56JR村上駅発、22:19JR新潟駅着。
新潟出張2日目の夕食は8/6(水)に電話で予約した割烹新多久。尊敬するタケマシュランさん、辣油は飲み物さん、お二人の食べログレビューを見たのがきっかけでした。
そもそも村上市の存在を知ったのはJALの機内誌、天井から吊られた無数の塩引き鮭が強く印象に残っていました。今回はスケジュールがタイトだったので夕食だけで終わりましたが、次回はゆっくり回ってみたいと思わせる魅力的な街でした。
さて楽しみにしていた割烹新多久の¥22,000コース、どれも美味しすぎて感動。中でも初っ端の銀杏餅が強烈に印象に残りました。一皿一皿は少量なので妻からのお裾分けがなく残念でしたが、お食事でご飯を計4杯いただいてお腹もいっぱい。というかご飯の友3種がどれも美味しすぎて、おかわり不可避でした。
時期的には鮭づくしコースも楽しめたようなので、ぜひ次回はそれをお願いしてみようと思います。新潟駅から鈍行で1時間半揺られて来るのも風情があって悪くありませんでしたが、瀬波グランドホテル はぎのやに泊まられる方も多いとか。朝食のみの宿泊プランがあるそうです。
