いよいよ福井でのメインイベント、越前ガニを満喫することに。会場は片町にある老舗和食店「いわし屋」さん。総勢7名のグルメ(ワタクシ以外(^_^;))なメンバーが揃い宴席のスタートです。
いただいたのは23,000円の越前蟹コース、先付け、蟹入りのお造り、ゆで蟹(大)1/2杯、水蟹、焼蟹、蟹せいろ蒸しにフルーツといった内容、まさに蟹三昧ですね。ゆで蟹はなんとも立派な大きさで見事なビジュアル、もちろんしっかりタグも付いています。こんな立派なカニを食べるのは生まれて初めてかもってくらい。
その後は黙々とカニと格闘、幸せな時間でした。水ガニっていうのも初めてです、ズワイガニの脱皮直後の状態のことということ、コレは殻が柔らかくって食べやすくってイイですね。身もみずみずしくってジューシー、すごく美味しかったです。
チョット贅沢なお食事でしたが、たまにはイイですよね、わざわざ福井まで足を運んだ甲斐がありました、ごちそうさまでした。
