由布院温泉御三家のひとつ「玉の湯」の近くにひっそりと佇むお蕎麦屋さん!
土曜日の10時頃、お店の場所を確認するためとりあえず伺ってみました。お店は細い小道沿いにあり店前の駐車場に止めていると
店内からスタッフさんが出てこられ「申し訳ありませんが開店は11時からです」と丁寧な応対。車をそのまま止めさせていただき湯布院散策をすることになりました。40分ほど散策して車に戻るとまたまたスタッフさんが「開店前ですが良かったら店内でお待ちください」と嬉しい応対v(^^)v
さて本題の「おそば」ですが、ざるそば(生粉)とざるそば(二八)、おにぎりと冬季のみの「自然薯」を単品で注文♪
まず、本わさび、次に薄口と濃口の二種類のそばつゆが運ばれてきていい意味でびっくり!
つゆは薄口でも少し濃いくらいでしたので濃口は・・・
本わさびは「当然ながら嫌な辛さも無く最高の風味」でした←わさびのみでもいただけました(^^;
ざるそばの「生粉」はそばの風味を感じましたし、極細でしっかりしたコシもあり「そば打ちの技術の高さ」に関心しました!
ざるそばの「二八」はつなぎがある分、更にコシが強かったです!
冬季限定の「自然薯」もメチャメチャねばりがありました!
おにぎりはごはんがふっくらしていて美味い!トッピングのちりめん山椒ととりそぼろは店内で販売していて迷わず購入しましたが
これは「玉の湯」の売店でも販売しているそうです(^^)
尚、ここの大将は「玉の湯」の料理長をされていたとの事。
余談ですが、ここのお箸の箸先が極細で、「極細のおそば」との相性も抜群でした♪
店内は3つのテーブル席と1つの個室であまり広くありませんし人気店なので、お昼時は混雑するようです。
