浅草浅草寺の仲見世通りから一本東筋に佇む日本家屋は、伝統の「浅草今半別館」だ
「若大将シリーズ(1961年から1971年まで全17作)」で、田沼雄一役の加山雄三の実家は「すき焼き屋」という設定。
この店にも、店先の加山雄三の写真が飾ってあるが、実のところ、ほとんどは映画セット、一部「神田やぶそば」がロケ地に使用されていたとの事…(昔懐かしい話…)
さて、
ウィークデーの19:30過ぎ、来日外国人もまばらな時間帯を狙って訪問
お願いしたのは「すき焼き」
ここでは、仲居さんが作ってくれる
鉄なべに波々と割り下を注ぎ、火の通りにくい、野菜から投入、ひと煮立させる
返しの醤油とみりん、酒の匂いがあたりを覆い、野菜たちに火が入った所を見越して、肉を投入だ
「じゅっ」ではなく「ぐつぐつ」という音は残念なのだが、仲居さんに免じて…(笑)
仲居さん作りを一通り食べた後で、今度はセルフで作る
そもそも「すき焼き」というのだから、焼きます
割り下を飛ばしておいて、肉を自家焼き、肉が焼けた所へ割り下投入で「じゅっ」
これが求める「すき焼き」だ
焼き ♡♡♡♡ 焼き強めで大満足
割下 ♡♡♡♡ 甘味抑えめ
肉質 ♡♡♡♡ 血統書つきのA5ランクで上質
量 ♡♡♡♡ たっぷり
いい肉なので、あまり強めに焼かなくてもいいのだが…と反省
雰囲気良し、仲居さんも良く気が利いて、美味しい
来日外国人を避けるなら、夜の訪問をオススメします
ただ、リーズナブルな「すき焼き弁当?」は売り切れの可能性が高いので要注意です
歴史と伝統の日本食の奥深さを堪能しました
