秋の紅葉シーズンにお邪魔しました。元々は櫻田さんのあった場所で、閉店してしまって悲しんでいたところ友人からお弟子さんが同じ場所で始めてますよ!と教えていただき早速妻を連れて行ってまいりました。
店内や雰囲気は懐かしいまま。お料理にも期待が膨らみます。まずは可愛らしい柿の器に入った先付けは柿と漬物で見た目もお味も秋を感じさせてくれるものです。椀物は蟹の真蒸、まさの京のお味の真骨頂です。最初は少々ご機嫌斜めだった妻の表情が見る見るといきいきとしていきますw 自分もどんどんお酒が進みます。向付(白身のお造り)に続いては栗と穴子のおこわです。これまた素晴らしい演出!八寸も秋の庭園を思わせるような食べるのが勿体無いような盛り付けです。鰆の焼き物は大根おろしに微塵切にした柴漬けが!身もプリプリでもう参りました状態です。炊合せは鴨の練り物に聖護院大根に菊菜、出汁が本当に素晴らしい!お食事は胡桃ごはん。余った分はおにぎりにしてお土産にしていただきました。赤出汁から甘味、焼き菓子、抹茶まで本当に素晴らしいひとときでした。数年ぶりの京のお味はただただ感動でした。必ずまた訪れたいですね。ご馳走様でした。
なお今回はカウンターでしたが、両隣は外国人。片側は本当にひとつひとつのお料理に感激してお店の方に色々質問していましたが、反対側の方々はお口に合わなかったようで半分くらい残していました。外国の方々は少なくとも数年は日本で暮らしてからじゃないと理解も感動も出来ないんじゃないのかな・・・とちょっと思ってしまいました。
