2008年G8北海道洞爺湖サミットの首脳会議会場で世界中に知られたホテル内の鉄板焼きレストラン「Out of Africa」にて夕食に “ Lake Toya ” を頂きました。料理のメインは秋鮭と黒毛和牛ヒレで共に北海道産食材の持ち味の焼き方に満足。野菜に関しても直接産地を訪ねるなどシエフの基本に忠実で妥協のない料理に対する思いが伝わり食事を十分に楽しむことが出来ました。店名の由来を尋ね忘れましたが、アメリカ映画の Out of Africa なのかな？・・・前を向いて力強く・・・。洞爺湖を眺めながら次回は昼食をと考えています。

I had dinner at Teppanyaki restaurant "Out of Africa". This restaurant is also known at the 2008 Hokkaido G8 Toyako Summit.
The main dish is autumn salmon and Japanese black beef.
For vegetables, the chefs visit the production area directly. I enjoyed a delicious meal using ingredients that did not impair the chef's basics.
I didn't ask the origin of the store name, but I wonder if the American movie "Out of Africa"!
For the next visit, I want to enjoy lunch while watching Lake Toya.
