平日の13時すぎに予約なしで出向くと、1席だけ空きがありカウンターの端を確保。店内は落ち着いた雰囲気で、厨房を含め手入れが行き届いている。ご夫妻で切り盛りされ、ご主人の目の前は特等席。丁寧な料理の説明が聞けた。
頼んだのは、ペルー伝統のランチコースとランチタイムの南米のワインセット。スパークリングワインから始め、後に白ワイン。
コースの前菜はセビーチェ、真鯛とポテトやチョクロ(ジャイアントコーン)などにレモンとライムを効かせたマリネ。ペルーでは、朝から昼までの料理とのこと。スープのソパクリオイジャは、真鯛の出汁がよく出ている。見た目の通りに、少し汗をかくくらいの辛さ。本来は、牛から出汁をとるらしい。
メインのロクロデサバーヨは、アヒ・アマリージョ(黄色い唐辛子)にカボチャとチョクロと骨付き鶏もも肉を合わせた煮込み料理。鶏はホロホロに仕上がり、ガーリックライスが添えられている。混ぜこぜにして、カボチャカレーのようにして食べても超ウマい。
デザートは、紫とうもろこしとパイナップルやリンゴを合わせシナモンなどを加えて甘く煮たマサモラ。最後は、ペルーのコーヒーで。大満足のひとときになった。
