大山駅南口から川越街道に向かって4つめの角を左折し、さらに4つめの角を右折した右手にあるお寿司屋さんです。徒歩10分弱でしょうか。

娘を連れてお邪魔しました。嬉しい報告があり、祝い酒となったので、ついつい日本酒が進んでしまって、最後のほうはいただいたものも忘れてしまいました。どれも美味しかったのと、一人当たり17000円ほどだったのだけは覚えています^^

念願だった再訪。前日までの台風で魚をそろえるのが大変だった、と言いながら、その苦労が楽しそうな大将にお任せで、まずはつまみから。初物のたらの白子は北海道産で、小ぶりで粘りが少ないけれど、食感と甘味が抜群。丸々として弾力のある甘海老や白貝などを次々とつまんだあと、握りへ。
どれも美味しかったけれど、中でも白いかに載せた北海道産のうにがとろけそうにうまかった。箱に詰まったうにを見せてもらうと、盛り上がっていました。この日は一箱3万6000円だったとか。濃厚な香りの味噌を載せたかにも抜群。
日本酒もかなりいただき、一人当たり1万6000円。やっぱりいいお店です。

<2013年4月訪問>
こちらは常連のみかりんこさんのレビューを見て、前々から来てみたかったお店です。
念願かなって、平日の夜8時にお邪魔しました。店内はすべて座敷で、料理をする大将を囲むようにカウンターがあり、すでに2組のお客さんがいて、私たちもその片隅に入れてもらいました。隣は一つずつ席が空いていたので、ゆったり。
まずは瓶ビールを飲み、大将に「つまみを」とお願い。大将はにこやかに仕事をしていて、気さくに話しかけてくれます。
最初は漬けまぐろ、厚みのあるふっくらとした歯ざわりのきびなご、甘みのある明石のタコが出てきました。タコはそのままでもいいし、塩山椒につけていただくのもいい。
すぐに大将おすすめの土佐鶴のしぼりたて(冷)を追加。進み具合をみながら、タイミングよくつまみを出してくれます。北海道のうにや、あんきもと島根県の宍道湖産のしらうお、栃木県のザーサイなどなど。
つまみだけでお腹が膨れ気味になってきたので、握りに変更。車海老やボタンエビ、甘みのあるアジ、うにをのっけたイカ……。あまりのおいしさに土佐鶴を2回お代わり。
各地の旬を堪能させていただき、2人で計24000円。一人当たり12000円は少々高いけれど、これだけの質なら文句なし。ここはまた来たくなるお店でした。
