表参道から少し奥まった路地にあるお店で、建物の脇を入っていった先が入り口なので初めてだと通り過ぎてしまいます。
入り口を入るとオープンキッチンがあり、その先にテーブル席が並んでいます。なかなか斬新な造り。南青山っぽい。
金曜に電話をしたら運よく予約でき、週末のランチを楽しみにしていました。こちらは税込5400円のコース一つのみ。お任せで季節のメニューが供されます。
台風一過で雲一つない真っ青な青空が見える窓際の席につき、メニューを見るとまるで和食。だって、スタートが大学芋、次は温泉卵。野菜の炊き合わせや秋刀魚のお造りまであります。これを、シェフが独特の感覚でフレンチにするのだとか。もうワクワク。ナイフやフォークは机の引き出しに入っているという、ちょっとした遊び心も嬉しい。
料理は写真そのものに語ってもらいます。大学芋は液状になっていて胡麻の生地に包まれていたり、温泉卵と柔らかなチーズを合わせたり、面白くて美味しい。スペシャリテのフォアグラはオレンジのジャムとともにクリスピーに挟まれていて、まんじゅうのようにいただきます。
料理に合うワインをペアリング(シャンパン+4杯、5400円)でいただきましたが、まさに料理との相性がぴったりで、驚きました。フォアグラには甘味の強いデザートワインを合わせたり、デザートのカボチャの栗きんとんには富山の日本酒、満寿泉をペアリングしたりと、発想も自由。このペアリングのワインがないと、せっかくの料理の美味しさが半減してしまいます。お酒を飲めて良かったぁ。ちなみにフォアグラに合わせたデザートワインはサービスでした。また栗きんとんに合わせた満寿泉(864円)は追加。
スタッフの方々の料理とワインの説明は懇切丁寧でにこやか。2時間かけて料理とワインを楽しみ、一人当たり1万1700円は安い。
ここは再訪したいお店です。
