門の引き戸を開けると長い回廊が続いていて、奥の入り口はなんとも情緒のあるエントランスです。入るとやや複雑な作りになっていて、カウンターまでも入り口から距離を取られています。
ご店主はカウンターの前で非常にたくさんいらっしゃるお弟子さんに細かく厳しく指示を出されますが接客にも手を抜かれません。
お料理は素晴らしく、椀物や温菜のような伝統的日本料理のなかに突然チーズリゾットやナイフとフォークをつけて鴨が出てくるといったような感じで、飽きさせません。ただ奇をてらっているわけでなく芯は座っているお料理で文句なしです。
