いやいや、別世界をたまには味わうことも良いことかもしれません。 建物の前の庭からその別世界に誘(いざな)われます。
1階が待合室 2階が食事 まず1階で洋館の荘厳さに圧倒されます。 バーカウンター、立派すぎます!
「オランダ商人、結構儲けてたのね」
正式?なヨーロッパのレストランでは、こういったところで食前酒を。 時には小一時間かけてから、Dinnerに移行です。
そんなことも出来るんじゃないかと思います。
少し一段が高い(オランダ人は、平均身長高いからか?)階段を、2階へ。 扇形に作った鉄板の前にテーブルがずらり。
叔母がらみの”特別な日”でしたので、折角と 以下の2種コースを。
鮑の岩塩蒸しとうかい牛コース 秋の味覚とうかい牛コース
以下口コミは、思いつくままにて(悪しからず)
鮑の岩塩蒸し
これは伯方の塩を使用 とのこと。 笹の上に鮑を置き、エストラゴン と ケッパーを。 それを昆布で包んで塩を。
4種のフランスきのこ(名前憶えれません)でバターソースを作り、焼き上げた鮑にかけます。
バターの甘さ が際立ってます 勿論、砂糖を使っているわけでは無い。 塩ときのこでこの甘さ(バター自身の)を引き出している、と。
うかい牛(サーロイン)
これに使う塩は、焼き塩 とのこと。 細かいパウダー状です。
付け合せは、淡路島の玉ねぎスライス。
ソースは、黒こしょう(粗挽き) わさび 自家製ポン酢 小豆島しょうゆ
不味いわけはありません。 とろっとした、自家製ポン酢、 ステーキ オニオンスライスにもあいます。 自家製ポン酢 一押し!
季節のオードブル(紅葉鯛)
紅葉鯛とは、秋に鯛が栄養をつけていくので体が赤みがかった色になるそうな。 それでこの時期の鯛を、紅葉鯛というらしい。
鯛の種類ではないようです。
油が乗っており、味のある(今までで多分一番美味しい)鯛\(◎o◎)/!
コンソメスープ
な な 何と完成までに2週間を要する一品。
何とも表現しづらい味であります。 こく・透明感・余韻・匂い それらを感じつつ、何だろうこの味は?と思いつつ答えが出せないうちに
飲み終えてしまう。 こちらでないと出会えない物かもしれません。
デザート(モンブラン)
栗の渋皮の匂いと味が一瞬感じられます。 渋皮だけだと、「渋い!」 となってしまいますが、一瞬だと 栗そのものを食べてる感じ。
