BS旅番組で知り、博多を訪れる際には・・・と思い続けた店。
開店時間五分前に到着。場所は天神春吉、島田洋七の店脇に入口を構え、石灯籠と杉玉が目印となり、2階への階段を上がった先が入り口となる。アプローチは綺麗に掃き清められ、入り口脇の看板を写真に撮ってると突然大将が顔を出し
「わ、驚いた!予約のpen様ですか?」
色黒で坊主頭、如何にも博多っぽな店主と挨拶を交わす
カウンター左端の席に腰を落ち付け、先ずは冷えた生ビールをグラスで
仕入れ具合と旬をお聞きし大将のお薦めを注文して行く
注文の度に
「小盛りにしましょう、お幾つ食べますか?」
と顔に似合わず(失礼)気さくな気遣いが心地よい。少し遅れて和装長割烹姿の美人女将が登場、コロコロ笑う素敵な女将に店内は華やかな雰囲気に包まれる。おしどり夫婦だなぁ♪
ところで野一色とは?
「本名なんですよ」
と、1978年福岡県生まれの野一色淳一氏は笑顔で応える
料理の手も落ち着いた頃合いに「野一色家」の家系図をお見せいただく。なんと家系は戦国時代にまで遡る武家の出。関ヶ原、桶狭間、駿府の名が所々に認められるが、如何せん達筆すぎて読めぬ(汗)
刀を包丁に持ち替えた現代の武者と言えよう♪
刺身も切って並べるだけでなく職人の技を感ずる一手間が加えられ、口に運ぶ度に「美味い」と漏れる。
その度にコチラを向きニコリと笑う
野一色氏を中心に17名の和食店が、田植えから絞りまで手掛けたオリジナル酒「野一色」2合を口にしつつ料理が進む。少し辛口を欲し「三井の寿」を冷や1合&燗2合と喉に流す。
スープとしても出汁の美味い若竹煮は〆に丁度イイ、お腹も張り体も暖まる。
博多では日本百名居酒屋さきとも訪れたかったが、一見では予約困難な店と諦めた。しかしココ野一色は何度も訪れたい店、家内が快気した暁には必ず・・・
