土曜、近くに行く予定があり、ダメモトで予約電話を数日前に入れたところ、16時スタートで予約できました。予約してからその日まで待ち遠しく♪
千葉駅から徒歩で行くと、住宅地にありました。10分前だったので、木の引き戸を開けてご挨拶。その後暖簾を出され、店内に入らせて頂きました。カウンターに6席用意はありましたが、最初の1組でした。
飲み物を注文し、さっそくわかめと蓮根をポン酢で。ガリは薄切りでなくさいの目なのが新鮮。ずっとちょこちょこ食べていました。
最初の蛸から、柔らかく茹でられていて、風味も抜群。この蛸は伊勢海老を食べていて、蛸も餌によって風味や色が違うということを、ご主人に教えて頂きました。ひとつひとつの食材の説明も、とても丁寧にお話して下さいました。贅沢な時間と空間にいることに感動がありました。
どのネタも、生と湯通しを絶妙に絡めてあり、素材が一番美味しい方法で提供されていると思いました。
シャリはちょっと硬めでほろりと握られていて、手でつかむとすぐに口に入れないと崩れる程。最後の玉子も予想外!驚いていると、種明かしをしてくれるご主人は、マジシャンのよう。1時間後に次の1組が入られましたが、それぞれにお話をしてくれますし、おしぼりの気遣いなども細やか。
特別な時に、またぜひ来訪します。最後に外でずっとお見送りして下さったご主人のお人柄が隅々に行き渡っているお店でした。
