On my way to the hotel in Osaka, this shop somehow pulled me inside. Their specialty is abura soba—brothless but smooth and mild. I went with the plain bowl, was guided up to the second floor, and it arrived quickly. The flavor reminded me more of the older-style abura soba I had in Koganei than the newer versions that have drifted away from the original. Simple, familiar, and satisfying
