現代の日本人は食の西洋化に伴い、肉食の頻度が増え、コレステロールや中性脂肪も増加傾向。
たまには、植物性の精進料理を食べてみようと思い、用賀駅から徒歩10分程度の泉竹さんへ。
センスの良い庭園が見える部屋に通され、予約した精進料理のコースを頂く。
まずは食前酒として、冷たい梅酒、梅の香りと甘酸っぱい風味が食欲を刺激する。
続いて、ごま豆腐、白和え、お吸い物、塩抜き梅干しの天ぷら、松茸とコーン、オクラの天ぷら、賀茂茄子の天ぷら出汁、生姜味付けご飯、赤だし味噌汁、お新香、デザート、抹茶とわらびもちを頂いた。
精進料理なので、鰹出汁は使わず、昆布や干し椎茸の出汁を使用しているとのこと。
肉や魚はなくても満足感の高い料理を味わえることがわかりました。
