京都・西陣の住宅街にひっそりと佇む「ラ・ポルト・ド・ヴェリテ」さん。
お昼のみ営業されている完全予約制の隠れ家フレンチです。
今回は「カジュアルランチ(3,300円)」をいただきましたが、価格以上の満足感と、シェフの温かいおもてなしに感動しました。
【今回いただいたメニュー】
・サラダ仕立てのオードブル(マグロのカルパッチョと野菜のテリーヌ)
・聖護院かぶらのポタージュスープ
・メイン:牡蠣グラタン(1日8食限定)
・“北欧の天然酵母パン KIITOS” じゃがパン
・デザート(サンマルクとパンナコッタ)
・コーヒー(キリマンジャロ)
特筆すべきは、冬限定・8食限定の「牡蠣グラタン」です。
ただのグラタンではありません。中には牡蠣だけでなく、ムール貝やヒラメ、そしてカリフラワーなどがゴロゴロと入っており、旨味の凝縮度が凄まじいです。チーズもしっかりと効いており、濃厚なベシャメルソースとの相性が抜群でした。
また、オードブルのテリーヌの滑らかな舌触りや、食材(かぶら)の葉までソースに使い切るポタージュなど、「医食同源」を掲げるシェフの優しさと技術が随所に感じられます。
パンも「じゃがパン」という珍しいもので、ふかしたジャガイモの香りがふわりと広がり、料理のソースともよく合いました。
店内は肩肘張らないアットホームな雰囲気ですが、料理は有名ホテル出身のシェフによる本格派。
「もう一度食べたい」と思わせてくれる、心に残るレストランでした。
季節ごとにメニューが変わるそうなので、また伺いたいと思います。
