超予約困難店で敷居が高そうですが、大将や女将さんは気さくでいつも楽しめます♪
去年大将倒れたそうで、無理せず程々に頑張ってください。
また、人気の理由のひとつ、美食家を唸らす鮨なのにコスパがめちゃめちゃ良いんです!

石鯛の刺身はコリコリ~昆布醤油で頂きます。
あん肝丼、もっと丼ぶりいっぱい欲しい!
山口産のクエは何と14キロの大物!
蓬莱泉空の酒粕で漬けた汁物は優しい味わいで身体がホカホカします♪
戸井産の本鮪をピスタチオ、カシューナッツ、クルミなどで和えて作られた自家製シーチキン。
お酒にも合うけど…おにぎりの具にして食べたいな!
西川さんと言ったらコレ!
茶釜で蒸した車海老と氷締めした生車海老の食べ比べ。
蒸したほうがプリプリで甘味ありますが、コリコリの食感を楽しむには生。
どちらも美味です!(*´∀`*)
松川鰈昆布締はタンパクな味わいに、柚子山葵で爽やかさ感じます♪
箸休め的な出汁巻き玉子、出汁がシミシミでジューシー!
先程出た車海老を炭火で焼いて、食べやすく硬い箇所を省いた車海老頭。
香ばしい香りと海老の甘味で美味しいな~♪
大阪湾で行者ニンニクとニラで臭み消しており、身は口の中で消えるほど!
鯖寿司は逆に甘味と酸味が一体となって、口の中でほぐれる様を楽しめます♪
黄身酢で味付けされた石川県産輪島の岩もずく、程よい粘りでつるんと飲み込めます。
千葉県産の本鮪は漬け、トロは背中の美味しい部分で、これまた口溶け良いですね♪
シャリが温かいのは狙ったのかな。
山葵のお吸い物は鰹や昆布、石鯛、ホッキ貝、クエなどの海鮮出汁で出来てます。
これ絶品でバケツで飲みたい!
西川さんの2大名物はコレですよね~♪
イカすり身、雲丹、イカ細切りを重ねた烏賊雲丹の手巻きと塩煮穴子。
烏賊雲丹は旨味爆発!
塩煮穴子は飲み物!
他所では食べれない、技術と丁寧な仕事ぶりが垣間見える逸品です♪
ここから終盤に向かうので寂しくなりますが…
お馴染みの玉子入り赤出汁、裏稲荷、カステラ玉子。
赤出汁はホッとする味わいですが、玉子のトロトロ具合が完璧!
家で作れそうで作れないですね(´∀`*)
食べたかった苺のおはぎ。
甘酸っぱい苺に優しい甘さの餡、ほろ苦い焼き金柑が引き立てます♪
今回も大満足!
夕方所要があったのでビール一杯で抑えてましたが…正解ですね。
お酒と合わせて楽しむのもオツですが、シラフで味わう鮨はより敏感に美味しさを感じる事できます♪
今後はお酒ほどほどで料理楽しみます(努力目標)
