白金高輪にある島津さんに行ってきました。時間になるまで扉が開かないと、一見どこにあるのかよく分からなくて通りすぎてしまいそうになります。時間近くになってゾロゾロとお客さんが周囲に集まって来ると、あぁココねってなります。
店内に入り、キビキビとした動きのお弟子さん達。お客様に失礼のないよう、楽しんでもらおうという気持ちがひしひしと伝わってきます。
もずくとじゅんさいの先付けからスタート。しらすとカラスミの茶碗蒸しが来て、冷たいものから温かいものへ。この茶碗蒸しがまた絶品。
お刺身に入り、まずは朝締めた東京湾のヒラメ。弾力があってコリコリ。カツオのたたきは千葉県勝浦から。カツオのたたきってそこまで好きではなかったんですが、コレは超美味い。皮の部分の炙りがパリパリというかサクサクになっていて、食感が新感覚。イワシクジラは煮て、カツオのたたきで余った生姜醤油で。美味くてやばい。
その後も感動の連続。メヒカリの唐揚げの海苔巻き。あん肝の煮付け。握りに入り、一発目はアラの昆布締め。金目鯛、アジ、イサキ、赤貝、マグロ一通りに、カサゴダイ、でっかい車海老、バフンウニ。口の中がとんでもなく幸せに溢れていきました。お椀を挟み、ラストはひもきゅうと玉子。
私にしては珍しく追加をいただき、白海老の昆布締めとトロたくをお願いしました。
デザートの千葉県の黒糖ジェラートは結構レアみたいです。
私の中でベスト寿司屋さんは見つけてしまっていたので、もう他は行くまいと思っていましたが、また一つ新たに追加されてしまいました。
