10月上旬の月曜日ランチ。
妻と名古屋市中区の『鮨屋 とんぼ』を訪問する。
江戸時代の庶民が大好きだった鮨・天麩羅・蕎麦・鰻。
奇しくも私の好物と丸被りである。
人気店だけあり開店30分前に到着するが既に先客あり。
女将が見かねて15分ほど前に開店してくれた。
ランチは7貫+巻物(¥1080)か11貫+巻物(¥1620)の2種類。
もちろん11貫のランチを注文する。
ご存知のとおりこちらは本当に立喰いスタイルである。
鯔背な立喰い江戸前鮨。
親方は、東京日本橋の老舗『吉野鮨本店』さんで経験を積み、独立して名古屋市千種区と岐阜県恵那市で『そめいよしの』さんを営まれ、現在の『鮨屋とんぼ』さんへ至る。
江戸前鮨の特徴である、砂糖を使用せずに赤酢と塩で作られた酢飯。

とてもリーズナブルだが、価格の割に鮨種は悪くない。
混んでいない夜にまったりと酒でも飲みたいが、こちらはササっと摘んですぐに帰るのが鯔背であろう。
