奈良旅行に行く事になり食べログで飲食店を探していたら花穂さんを見つけ13,200円のコースを予約。入口は同じ建物のラーメン屋さんの隣。ノックして入室すると店主がお出迎え。店主妻の女将さんは休日との事。残念。檜の一枚板のカウンターの真ん中に案内される。常連でも無いのに緊張。このカウンターの板は店主もびっくりする値段で通常寺社仏閣に使う物で車が一台買えるとの事。
最初にビールをいただき料理スタート。料理は写真の順で出てきました。途中,飲んだ地酒も入ります。料理は美味しくいただきましたが特に肉の焼物は長時間低温調理し表面を炙った物。噛んだ時の脂の旨さが際立っている。付け合わせのエリンギとヤングコーンもその脂の旨みを吸って美味い。後,料理長が作ったケーキは抜群に美味い。気になったのはこずゆの塩味が強かった事。酒は地酒が多く店主よりチョイスして貰い美味しくいただきました。店は間もなく開いて1年。店主は自分の子より若く店を持つために6つの仕事を掛け持ちし資金にしたと。凄い。奈良の事を教わりながら楽しみひと時。奈良に来たらまた行きたいです。店名は「カスイ」と読みます。
