友人の予約で初来店。
一休のサイトでの予約の、¥16800のコース。
最初にスパークリングワインを飲みながらながら4、5品の前菜をいただく。鰆は軽く炙ってあり甘い醤油たれが添えられてとても日本酒に合った。脂の乗りが良く臭みもなく美味しかった。かりかりに焼かれカラスミが軽く振られたうなぎも絶品だった。茶碗蒸しは酒盗で造られたそうで出汁の味と日本酒が非常に良く合った。シャリを混ぜてリゾット風にいただいたのも面白い食べ方であった。あん肝もお酒に良く合った。次にいよいよ鮨が提供される。一貫ずつゆっくり握ってくれて計10貫をいただいた。どの鮨も申し分なく美味しかった。小振りに握られた赤酢のシャリである。
カウンター席に座ると作り手の方とのやり取りを全く無視して自分達の会話だけに没入するのは失礼な感じがするが反面あまりに料理人の方に話しかけても申し訳ない気もする。そう言う意味ではこの店の大将はお客との距離感を心得ているようで、プライベートな話には口を全く出さずご自分の仕事に専念、さりとて料理の質問に関しては的確かつ朗らかに対応してくれる態度に好感が持てた。緊張せずにカウンター席の美味しい鮨をいただく事の出来る名店だと思った。再訪しても良いと感じた。
