大正15年創業のかぶら蒸し料理の老舗店。
店内に入るととても上品な京都弁でご挨拶頂く。
内観は歴史を感じる佇まいで和を感じる。
外国人観光客は皆無で上品なご年配の方達のみ。
◎かぶら蒸し定食/4,400円
先付けは山芋を使った料理で上品。
八寸はかますのお寿司魚卵の煮物などが揃う。
えのきの入った煮凝りとタコの煮物が美味。
お造りはマグロと鯛と剣先イカが並ぶ。
添えられたカブがお口直しにとても良かった。
かぶら蒸しはかぶらの味を引き立てる薄味。
このあんかけの絶妙な味加減の品のあること。
穴子と鶏肉と椎茸と白身魚が脇を固める。
全体的な味としてお雑煮を連想するような
温かみのあるやさしい味で体があたたまる。
〆のちりめん山椒のご飯の美味いこと!。
コレの単品だけでかなりご飯がススム。

鱧は口の中でとろけていく絶品!。
こんな食感の歯応えは初めて。
いちじくの天ぷらも調理法として合う!。
この不思議な食感と味覚は一度経験の価値あり。
全部の料理を食べ終わる頃に冷酒を完飲。
ちょうどいい具合に酩酊して気分良くなる。
たまたま通りかかって店構えが良くて入店。
それが大当たりのお店でした。
