馬車道から常盤町通りに折れてすぐ、勝烈庵の馬車道総本店のお隣に店を構える天七さん。創業60年、横浜馬車道の天ぷらの名店に漸くお伺いすることができました。ランチのコースをいただきましたが、揚げの技、ネタへの自信が感じられます。今日のネタは、車海老、茄子、淡路町の玉ねぎ、穴子、太刀魚、天七さん名物の梅干し、締めは芝海老のかき揚げを天茶で・・。サクサクの衣に、素材の美味しいさを引き出す揚げの技には、唸ります。天七さんの名物梅干しの天ぷら、初めていただきましたが、南高梅のねっとりした食感をサクサクの衣が包み込み、爽やかな酸味がお口直しもってこいです。揚げの技に、ネタへの拘り。横浜馬車道の老舗の天ぷらを堪能させていただきました。ごちそうさまでした!
