新橋駅の近く、屋上に金春稲荷がある新橋会館の地下にあるお店。
ランチに、カウンターで天ぷらのコースを予約。
鱧が始まったばかりだそうで、今シーズン最初の鱧は天ぷらで頂いた。鱧の旬って本当は11月頃だとも言われているけれど、鱧を味わうと、夏を感じる。
前菜の後、マキ海老2尾からスタートで、かなりのボリューム。どの素材も、言うまでも無く上質で、こだわりの油でからりと揚げられて、全然重さを感じない。最後のかき揚げ天丼まで、美味しく頂いた。アスパラガスやモロッコインゲンなど淡白なお野菜も、とても香りがよくジューシーで印象的。好物の穴子や帆立の天ぷらも、素晴らしかった。お魚は、季節ごとに変化する水温に合わせて仕入産地を変えられているそう。
物静かで穏やかな笑顔のご主人と、感じの良い接客で、ゆったりと気持ち良く過ごせるお店。
