金沢旅行のメインイベントとして、2ヶ月前から予約して楽しみにしていた「いくた」さん。金沢で過ごす最後の夜に、素晴らしい時間を過ごすことができました。
お料理はまず、お造りや西京焼きなど前菜的な6品からスタート。中でも印象的だったのがハタハタの西京焼き。脂の乗ったハタハタの旨味と、味噌の香ばしさが絶妙にマッチしていて、一口目から感動しました。
続く握りは、一貫一貫に大将の丁寧な仕事が感じられるものばかり。特に終盤に出てきた能登マグロは脂の乗りが素晴らしく、口の中でとろけるような美味しさでした。シャリは米の粒感を感じつつもふんわりと握られていて、ネタとの一体感が素晴らしかったです。
日本酒の種類も豊富で、自分の好みの味の傾向を伝えると、それに合ったお酒を何種類か提案してくださり、そのどれもが料理との相性抜群。地酒の魅力を再認識しました。
そして、大将の温かく気さくな接客がとても心地よく、初訪問でも肩肘張らず、リラックスして贅沢な時間を楽しめました。高級感はありながらも敷居が高すぎない、そんな絶妙なバランスがこの店の魅力だと思います。
金沢で特別な食事をしたい方には心からおすすめしたい一軒です。
