コロナ禍初期以来久々の宿泊。
15年ほど前にとある湯河原温泉宿の料理長が創業以来の料理長として籍をおいていた料理旅館。それから何度も何度も訪れるようになったQuality高い少人数制の料理旅館(全6室)眺めの良い伊豆高原の高台にある静かな環境。全室メゾネット、露天風呂1つ内風呂1つという固有な設え。
料理長が3回変わっているものの、季節を感じる食材と食材の味をしっかり引き立てている。食事に関してはやはり初代料理長の功績を踏襲しているように感じる。今回はグレードアッププランで伊勢海老をチョイスのため伊勢海老が目立ちすぎ、小技を効かせた和のテイストは若干希薄になっている。
他のお客さんを気にせず、のんびりと温泉に浸かり、美味しく食べて呑んで、また温泉に浸かって、大室山や海を眺めて、贅沢な時間が過ごせる伊豆高原の素敵な宿。
