今日はお客さまからオススメとご紹介いただいた赤羽の江戸八さんに訪問。
暖簾をくぐると目の前にはカウンター、奥に個室があります。奥の個室は立派な格子天井と地元の有名な先生が書いた絵が飾られてます。
突き出しは煮鮑、柔らかいながらしっかり歯応えもあり上品な味付け。お新香はきゅうりや人参などのぬか漬け。茶豆は甘みとコクが強く、香りも豊かです。
刺身は大トロ、中トロ、関サバなどどれも新鮮で美味しかった。みょうがのアクセントがまたあいます。
タコは佐島産、は神奈川県・三浦半島の佐島で獲れる地タコで、高級ブランド蛸として広く知られていますが、歯ごたえがありながら柔らかく、噛めば甘みが広がる味わいでした。胡椒で食べたのもおつです。
にしんの煮付けは皮が崩れない上品な仕上がり。骨までやわらかく煮るためには手間と時間がかかってるのが感じらます。
蟹ときゅうりの酢の物とあまり飲めない私に酒蔵さんこだわって作った柚ソーダ。
焼き物は山形牛の赤みのステーキ、あまりに美味しくてご飯を追加して食べてしまいましたw
梅酒ソーダは3年連続で受賞した和歌山産の梅を使ったお酒。スッキリした味わいと梅の芳醇な香りが堪らんかったです。写真にはないのですが、追加で梅酒ソーダをもう1杯、山形の酒蔵東光さんで作った甘めの梅酒をいただきました。
ラストの寿司は大トロ、中トロ、新子、トリ貝、礼文島のうに、ブラックタイガー、いかにスズキ。全て美味かったのですが、おすすめのアナゴが今日イチの美味しさ、白焼きとタレともふっくらながら厚みもありこれまで食べた穴子の中で1番です。白身も貝もおすすめということで、追加で。つぶ貝は歯応えがあり、音が漏れるほどぷりぷり食感。関サバをレモンで食べたのも最高に美味しかったです。
長文ですみません、次から次へと湧き上がる感動に最後まで満足のいくお寿司屋さんでした。
