初めて京都に住み始めた40年前から一度行ってみたいと思っていたこの名店。なんだかんだで一度も食べにきたことがなく、通院のための平日休暇の日にようやく来ることができた。昼からひとりすき焼きとは何という贅沢!ロースすき焼き3,300円。並と200円しか差がないからほぼみんなこっちを頼むんではないかな。
あしらいは玉ねぎ、ネギ、焼き豆腐、糸こんにゃく、麩、三つ葉なのだが、、僕は玉ねぎが好きではないので、その分ネギを増やしてもらうようにお願いして玉ねぎ抜きに!
大瓶ビールを飲みながらテーブルに置いてあるレシピ通りに載せて焼いていく。砂糖はたっぷり、、ちょっと気が引けたけどせっかくだから全部使った。タレを入れると一気にそそる香りが上がってくる。煮立ったら肉を端に寄せ、麩と三つ葉も投入。めっちゃワクワクしながら玉子をといて食す。。
「うまい!」肉はバランスよくサシが入っており、柔らかく、牛の味が口の中にじゅわーと広がる。味をよく吸った他の具たちもベストマッチで最高!ご飯は頼んでなかったがたまらず注文して、追い卵も頼んでご覧の通りにオン・ザ・ライス。もっと肉が欲しくなるが、さすがに我慢。
おいしかったなぁ。平日の昼で空いてたし、ビール飲み飲み落ち着いて食べられ、お店の昭和風情と相まって本当に至福のひとときだった。大瓶ビールと追い卵、ご飯を加えても4,250円というハイコスパに大満足できた!また近々来たいなあ。
