It was super cheap, filling and healthy. They stick to a couple of dishes (spring rolls, beef noodle and tofu with noodles) which they do really well and the service is friendly and fast. Everything is freshly prepared and there are so many delicious flavours! The beef noodles were great especially after adding the garlic, chilli, lime and chilli sauce.

Steamed rice paper pancakes with meat. I loved watching the ladies out the front with the process of making them. Staff made us feel welcome, but kept to themselves mostly, our local guide did most of the talking for us.

I think it is the best out of any place I've been. I'm here with friends almost every week. Very popular with the locals, but more Ex-Pats are finding this great little restaurant. Banh Hoi was also delicious and a must try.

Be prepared for many locals to be here to enjoy their tasty delights. Good mi quang, in a professional and clean place. Not the street side experience, but not the confortable place either. Quality dishes, around mi quang. There is a com ga/cau lao place right next to it.

Quite royal indeed!! service was brisk and the setting quite charming. Will definitely visit again. Had the clam soup which was not overwhelmingly generous but just the right amount as the flavours were quite a heady mix. The crunchy and chewy rice cakes as a side dish completed my meal. If you come to HCMC you should try it

Views over the lake are excellent and you can go for a nice walk around it afterwards. There is a traditional Vietnamese music group that is very good.

Lamenda is on a busy corner close to Ben Thanh market. Comfortable out door seating area. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent Italian coffe, they have different brewed draft beer on tape. I always come to this place when I visit HCM.

The atmosphere was very relaxed and everything was clean. Price was decent for what you got. If you like salted egg, you'll love the oysters. I also recommend both the red snappers and the grilled beef!! There is a set price and then you can order as much as you like from an extensive menu of little delicacies. The service was incredibly friendly, food came out fast and a lot of variety. Our lovely waiter Lihn was helpful and very attentive.

Our favourite dishes were the pancake, pork ribs, prawn cocktail in a coconut shell, scallops and fish soup and the steamed “water cake” entrees. Lotus stem with shrimp and pork salad: This salad is super delicious! It comes with the deep fried shrimp chips.

We shared a green mango salad, a seafood/morning glory soup, and the crab hotpot - all were flavoursome and met our expectations of great Vietnamese food full of fresh ingredients.Location is great and fabulous view over the bridge and waterfront. Really lovely restaurant: excellent food, attentive staff, overlooking beautiful views in three directions (river, lit lanterns, glowing shops . . . ) Highly recommend.

I enjoyed a delicious late lunch here. We had a selection of starters, a shellfish hot pot both cooked at the table.... and a few beers.The salad was amazing and seafood is fresh. Their dipping sauces is also very good Not bad at all for the quality of what we had. Highly recommended place We recommend: * clams in butter sauce * Vietnamese scallops in black pepper and garlic * glass noodles with crab meat - FANtastic

This particular location can get very crowded in big mall but you can get your drinks to go and a nice place to have a break whilst exploring district one.

It’s a cosy lounge area of what I imagine is the owners house. We sat there for a long time, writing postcards, observing life, drinking and eating. Very relaxed atmosphere. The owner/waiter/chef spoke almost no English but was polite in his mannerisms and was very friendly. We ordered the famed Cao Lau x 2 and it was delicious but what really stood out for me were their giant fried wontons. Sugarcane shrimp very lovely, wontons tasty and the rice pancakes, too. yum oh yum! Overall a great experience, we will try to get back again during our stay.
