カフェモーツァルトアトリエ

すっかり紅葉の季節ですね。色付いた葉が綺麗です。この辺りは樹がたくさんあって良いですね。

モーツァルトに到着。つる植物アイビーに覆われた看板が良い雰囲気です。
このアイビーは生命力が強く育て易いので、初めての観葉植物にオススメですね。

昔、花束に添え物として入れられていたアイビーを鉢に差しておいたら、逞しく根付いて葉をどんどん増やしてくれたのを思い出しました。生命力の塊です。

お店はドアを開けて階段を降りた先、地下なんですねビックリ。落ち葉が溜まった駐車場といい、隠れ家感がたまりません。
クルマは1グループにつき1台まで、90分の時間制限あり。注意しましょう。

階段を降りた先の小テーブルに飾られた生花。
絵画やデスクライト、センスの良いインテリアがゲストを楽しませてくれます。

花は良いねえ、食べられる訳でもなく鑑賞するためだけに手間暇かけて育てられた作物。
人類が生み出した文化の極みですね。

平日11:30頃、客はまばら。
有名店なので入れないかと心配していましたが一安心。

好きな席を選んで座って、テーブルに置かれた伝票を持ってカウンターで注文するシステムです。

キンキンに冷えた凍ったグラスで提供。
酸味と渋みをしっかり感じる。冷やし過ぎ？
※赤ワインは冷やすとタンニンが強く出過ぎてしまいます。

プラスチックのカトラリー入れがちょっとお店の雰囲気から浮いています。拘った内装、ロケーション。他が完璧なだけに余計に悪目立ちしてしまう。
ここは経費をかけて欲しい。(余計なお世話です)

○本日のカレー1,450円
見た目が色鮮やかな一皿。
色使い、配置、全てがセンス良く、素人が適当に撮影したのに実にお洒落です。

添えられたパンはサクサクのラスクのような食感で蜂蜜がかけられています。

サラダは葉物と大振りのクルミ。

カレーは豆のキーマカレー。
素揚げのレンコン。
揚げたにんじんは柔らかく甘みがあります。

キャロットラペは酢の物っぽい。
紫キャベツの酢漬けも。

パクチーは苦手だったのですが、ここのは美味しくて癖になりそう。
(注文時にパクチーは大丈夫ですか？と聞いてくれます)

真っ赤な大根、鮮やか。
素揚げのナス。
ゆで卵。

最後まで取っておいたじゃがいも。好きな物は残しておくタイプです。

食感や味が色々で楽しい。具沢山で満足感のある料理でした。


静かに流れるクラシック音楽。

水色のお洒落なトイレのドア。この幅が狭い縦長の寸法は洒落ていますね。あまり見ないサイズなので拘って取り付けたのでしょう。

御手洗いの中も、白黒チェックの床や、船の電球のようなもの、スタンドで縦置きされたペーパーなど拘っておられます。

私は飲食店の御手洗いを見るのが好きなのですが、食事中に見たく無いという方も居られると思いますので画像処理で隠しておきます。

大きな鏡と、貴族が座りそうな革張りのビッグサイズソファ。これで1人掛けだもんなあ、ブルジョワジー。

食器棚でしょうか、日本ではありえないサイズの木製キャビネット。収められたカミュ全集。

じっくり本を読みたいですね。時間が無いのを言い訳にショート動画ばかり観ていると、楽しいのですが、ヒトとしての深みが無くなっていく気がします。
細切れの時間でも良いから本を読まなくては。

店内隅に置かれたピアノ。
こういう時にピアノが弾けたら良いなあと思います。
LALALANDのライアン・ゴズリング格好良すぎです。ピアニストは憧れ。

タイタニックのMy Heart Will Go Onとか弾いて盛り上げたい。私はイントロの笛の音を聴くだけで鼻の奥がツンとして涙が出そうになります。

いや、店から頼まれたわけでもないのにいきなり弾き出したらアウトですね。

天井から吊るされたクリスタルのライト。
陽の光を受けてキラキラと綺麗です。

大窓から見えるテラスにも席が多数あり。
眼下には広瀬川、景色が良さそうです。
この日は生憎の強風で、寒さに負けてテラス席は断念しましたが次回はテラスで楽しみたいです。

1人用の文机席。
ランプで照らされて手紙を書きたくなる良い雰囲気。

デザートはねっとり濃厚、キャラメルかと思うようなねっとり感。

2人組のお客さんに頼まれて、記念撮影をしてあげる気さくなスタッフさん。

お会計は4,350円、ご馳走様でした。

店から出て、改めて看板の雰囲気の良さに気がつく。
サビが実に良い感じです。

歩いて行ける範囲に、BABEL858という中世パン屋や、瑞鳳殿もあるので観光旅行にもオススメです。

Cafe Mozart Atelier

It's definitely autumn. The colorful leaves are beautiful. It's nice to have so many trees in this area.

We arrived at Mozart. The sign, covered in climbing ivy, creates a lovely atmosphere.

This ivy is very resilient and easy to grow, so I recommend it as a first houseplant.

I remember once putting some ivy, which had been used as an accompaniment to a bouquet, in a pot, and it took root vigorously and produced countless leaves. It's a bundle of vitality.

I was surprised to find that the cafe is located underground, just down the stairs from the door. The parking lot, filled with fallen leaves, gives it an intimate feel.

Please note that there is a 90-minute time limit and only one car per group is allowed.

Fresh flowers are displayed on a small table at the bottom of the stairs.

Paintings, desk lamps, and tasteful interior decor are sure to delight guests.

Flowers are wonderful! They're not edible, but are painstakingly cultivated solely for aesthetic purposes.

They're the pinnacle of human culture.

Around 11:30 on a weekday, there were only a few customers.

I was worried I wouldn't be able to get in because it's a famous restaurant, but I was relieved.

You choose your seat and then order at the counter, taking the receipt that's on the table.

Yuzu Ginger Tea + ¥300

Served in a frosty glass.
You can really taste the acidity and astringency. Was it too chilled?
*Red wine's tannins become too pronounced when chilled.

The plastic cutlery holder stands out a bit from the rest of the restaurant's atmosphere. The interior and location are well thought out. It stands out even more because everything else is perfect.
I wish they'd invest more in this. (I know I'm being nosy.)

Today's Curry 1,450 yen
A colorful dish.
The colors, the arrangement, everything is tasteful, and despite being photographed haphazardly by an amateur, it's very stylish.

The accompanying bread had a crispy rusk-like texture and was drizzled with honey.

The salad was leafy greens and large walnuts.

The curry was bean keema curry.
Deep-fried lotus root.
The deep-fried carrots were soft and sweet.

The carrot rapée had a vinegared flavor.
There was also pickled purple cabbage.

I've never really liked cilantro, but the one here is so delicious I could get addicted to it.
(They ask if you're okay with cilantro when you order.)

The bright red radish was vibrant.
Deep-fried eggplant.
Boiled egg.

I saved the potatoes until the end. I'm the type of person who likes to save the things I like.

The variety of textures and flavors was enjoyable. It was a satisfying meal with lots of ingredients.

Classical music was playing softly.

A stylish light blue toilet door. Its narrow, vertical dimensions are very stylish. It's a size you don't see very often, so it must have been installed with great care.

The inside of the restroom is also carefully designed, with a black and white checkered floor, what looks like a ship's light bulb, and toilet paper placed vertically on a stand.

I love looking at restrooms in restaurants, but I imagine there are some people who don't want to see them while eating, so I've hidden them using image processing.

A large mirror and a huge leather sofa that looks like it could be slept on by an aristocrat. It's a one-seater, so bourgeoisie.

A wooden cabinet, perhaps a cupboard, of a size unheard of in Japan. It contains the complete works of Camus.

I'd like to read a book at my leisure. Watching only short videos as an excuse for not having much time is fun, but I feel like it makes me less profound as a person.

I should read a book, even if it's just in small chunks of time.

A piano in the corner of the store.
I wish I could play the piano at times like these.
Ryan Gosling from LALALAND is so cool. I admire pianists.

I want to play "My Heart Will Go On" from Titanic to liven up the atmosphere. Just hearing the whistle intro makes my nose tingle and I feel like I'm going to cry.

But, if I suddenly started playing without being asked by the bar, I'd be in trouble.

Crystal lights hung from the ceiling.
They sparkled beautifully in the sunlight.

There were also many seats on the terrace, with a view of the Hirose River below, which looked like a beautiful sight.
Unfortunately, there was a strong wind that day, and the cold meant I gave up on the terrace seats, but I'd like to enjoy them there next time.

Single desk seats.
The lamplight lit the atmosphere, making me want to write a letter.

The dessert was rich and sticky, almost like caramel.

A friendly staff member took a commemorative photo for a pair of customers at their request.

The bill came to 4,350 yen. Thank you for the meal.

Leaving the store, I once again noticed the lovely atmosphere of the sign.

The chorus is really nice.

Within walking distance is BABEL858, a medieval bakery, and Zuihoden, so it's also recommended for sightseeing trips.
