ウェスティンホテル横浜の朝食。
レストランに到着すると順番待ち。タブレットで受付して呼ばれるまで待つスタイル。　

待っている間にお召し上がりくださいと、コーヒー・バナナマフィン・クロワッサンのサービスが。
流石の気遣い。

ピンク色をテーマカラーにしたペストリーコーナー。
可愛らしいミニサイズのドーナツにデニッシュ、マフィン。女子心をくすぐってきます。

子供用チェアを用意してくれていたのですが、サイズがキツくて座れなかったので大人用椅子に自分で交換しようとしていると、
すぐにスタッフさんが気がついてくれて「どうされまましたか？」事情を説明すると、子供用チェアのココのベルトが外れるんですよと案内。

無事に子供も座る事ができました。週末の朝食会場、店内は混雑していて忙しいでしょうに、にこやかな表情でしっかりの目配り気配り。優しい。

メープルシロップ付きワッフル。
おひたしや温泉卵、納豆の和食系。

○目の前で調理してくれる卵料理ブース
ホテルの料理人の手捌きを間近で見られるまたとないチャンスです。シリコンヘラで丁寧に整形しています。
味付けはケチャップ、紫蘇トマトジャム、ディジョンマスタード、粒マスタードとバリエーション豊か。

シグネチャーオムレツを頂きました。シラス、かつお節、椎茸。和の味わい。
とろとろの半熟でとても良いです。

エッグベネディクト。
小ぶりのマフィンの上に乗せられた卵と黄色いソース。緑と赤も添えられて彩り豊か。実に写真映えする一品です。
ナイフを入れると黄身がとろ〜り。

○ウェスティンホテル横浜オリジナルカレー
トマトの旨味と酸味のカレー。辛くはないので苦手な方もご安心ください。
カレー大好きなんですよね。ホテルのカレーなんて聞くだけでワクワクしちゃいます。

テーブルにはクリスマスが近いからか、モエ・エ・シャンドンの案内が。朝からシャンパン、最高ですね。

○朝食会場にチーズコーナーがあるのは珍しい。
カマンベール、スモーク、チェダー、ゴーダ、パールモッツァレラ。種類豊富で嬉しいです。

○シリアルコーナー
玄米フレーク、ライスクリスピー、グルテンフリーシリアル、レーズン、クランベリー、アマニシード、クルミ。
ヘルシーでゴー☆ジャスです。

○飲み物コーナー
フレッシュグレープフルーツジュース、フレッシュオレンジジュース。
ラベンダーハニーレモネード、ミックスベリースムージー。いやあ、小洒落ていますね。女優さんが飲むヤツです。朝から贅沢させてもらってます。

大満足の朝食でした。
胃袋の容量が許すなら全種類食べたいです。
食べられなかった料理は次回のお楽しみに取っておきましょう。

○ホテルのレストランという事で、宿泊先をお探しの方も多いと思います。
以下、ウェスティンホテル横浜の宿泊体験記です。ご参考まで。

ウェスティンホテル横浜。
宿泊前日、プールで使う浮き輪が必要だと気が付きホテルに電話。

Amazonの配達先をホテルにしても大丈夫ですか？と尋ねると快く承諾。
宿泊日とフルネーム、コンシェルジュデスク気付とメモをして送ってくださいとの事。
突然の事態やワガママにも臨機応変に対応してくれてスタッフさんのレベルの高さが伺えます。流石高級ホテルです。

そういえば気付という言葉を初めて知りました。着付けですか？とトンチンカンなことを口走る私。知ったかぶりで着付けで送らなくて良かったです。聞くは一時の恥、聞かぬは一生の恥、ですね。

ついでに幼児のパジャマがあるか確認すると90〜110cmのSサイズを用意してくれるとの事。年齢確認をしてくれて、キッズアメニティもご用意しておきますね、との事。気配りが嬉しい。

チェックインは1階ではなく23階です。フロント背後のグリーン装飾が良いですね。

○クリスマスツリー
青を基調にした上品なツリーです。白いお花が飾られているのと、ギフト箱のリボン結びが優雅ですね。

○トイレも高級感があります。黒いマットなボウルにシルバーのオートディスペンサー。大理石の台。大理石はエレガントですね、昔から愛されてきた理由がわかります。
若い頃はクラシカルな感じだと思っていましたが歳を重ねて魅力を感じるようになりました。やはり良い物は普遍的に良いです。

○館内の装飾はエレガントで洗練されています。
写真映えするグランピング風スペースや、大きな枝物装花。
ガラスの箱の中で燃える綺麗な炎のオブジェ。釣られて近付くと「いらっしゃいませ」おっと、カフェでした。失敬。

○お部屋は玄関床と部屋床の境目が全く無く入口からフローリングのタイプ。日本人の私はどこで靴を脱ぐべきか戸惑い。お洒落です。
白い陶器の月を模したオブジェ、床には木漏れ日の影。素敵です。この木のテーブル好みですね、家に置きたいです。

白い大理石のサイドテーブルに、和を感じさせる苔のオブジェ。

ボタンひとつでカーテンが自動で開閉するのにちょっと感動。

お風呂はシャワーヘッドが大きい。天井から降り注ぐタイプのシャワーも併設されています。
ハリウッド俳優気分で楽しみましょう。冷水を浴びないよう操作に注意です。天井から冷水バシャーなんてコントです。

薄くてお洒落な体重計、コレ良いなあ。
日用品の購入で悩んだら、ホテルに泊まってどこで買った備品ですか？と問い合わせるのも良いかもしれません。
どこもかしこも素敵でインテリアの参考になります。

御手洗いのドアは磨りガラス製。ドラマの主人公が住んでいる高級マンションです。

クローゼットも木が使われていて良いですね。こんなお部屋に住みたい。

ウェルカムウォーターはサスティナブルが意識されたガラスのリユースボトルでの提供。ペットボトルより洒落ています。

コーヒーはネスプレッソのカプセル式。
アルペジオやカプリチオ、トウキョウルンゴ、ヴォリュートデカフェ。洒落乙なフレーバーが揃っています。

ワイングラスにソムリエナイフ。タンブラーもお洒落ですね、水を入れるだけで美味しさが増す気がします。

キッズパジャマも可愛い。
白のシャドーストライプにネイビーのパイピング。同デザインのタオルハンカチ。
子供用スリッパには羊さんの顔が描かれています。

枕元には安眠用のラベンダーバーム。塗るとよく眠れるそうです。

クリスマスケーキの案内。トナカイの顔の中に苺のケーキ。数量限定7個。
凝っていますね、ここまでくると菓子コンテスト出場レベルです。

モバイルオーダーでルームサービスが頼めます。
ワインやシャンパン、フルーツ盛り合わせや軽食はもちろんお子様メニューが有り難いです。

お子様焼き魚1,045円
お子様卵焼き884円
別途サービス料13%と消費税10%がかかります。

どれも幼児にはちょうど良い量とチョイス。
メニュー考案者は偏食の幼児の気持ちをよく理解されておられます。

子供の歯ブラシがどこかに行ってしまいどこを探してもない。仕方なく内線で頼むとわざわざ部屋まで持ってきてくださるとのこと。フロントに取りに行くつもりでいたのですが恐縮、すみません。

最初の応答から○○様、と名前で呼んでくれました。部屋番号と名前が紐づけられているのでしょう。
こちらから求めるようになってしまってはいけないと思いますが、正直とても気分が良いです。

楽しい夜を過ごし、チェックアウト。
アストンマーティンやフェラーリ、錚々たる高級車が並んだ駐車場。
ホテルのそばにはロールスロイスのディーラーがありますし、この一帯は異次元空間と化しています。
どんなVIPが泊まっているんだ。

私達に気が付いた駐車場スタッフさんにお帰りですか？と駐車券を求められたので、電車なんです、石川町まで歩きでと返答。
通り過ぎ、ホテル入口でGoogleマップであっちかな？いやこっち？と調べて右に進もうとすると、
先ほどの駐車場スタッフさんが「そっちじゃなくて左側から行った方が早いですよー」と遠くからわざわざの声掛け。
「左から行って右に曲がって渡れば良いですよ」と丁寧な道案内。
その通りに進んでみると、踏切があり線路を渡れるようになっている。なるほど確かにこちらの方が早い。
Googleマップよりも人の優しさですね。VIPではない一般客にも親切で優しい。高級車を見て少し意気消沈していた後だったので尚更親切が心に沁みました。

このスタッフさんのおかげで、一気にウェスティンホテルさんのファンになりました。

宿泊費は大人2、幼児1で一泊81,479円。
パッと見ると恐れ慄いてしまうお値段ではあるのですが、泊まってみると大満足で納得、後悔しない価格です。
大人になると自由な時間も少なく、旅行に行けるチャンスも限られてきますからね。量より質で。
何より味わえる非日常感はプライスレスです。

Breakfast at the Westin Yokohama.
Arriving at the restaurant, we waited in line. We registered via tablet and waited until we were called.

We were offered coffee, a banana muffin, and a croissant to enjoy while we waited.
What thoughtfulness!

The pastry corner had a pink theme.
Adorable mini-sized donuts, Danishes, and muffins. They were sure to appeal to any woman.

They had prepared a child's chair, but it was too tight for my child to sit in, so I tried to swap it for an adult chair myself.
A staff member immediately noticed and asked, "What's wrong?" I explained the situation and was told that the strap on the child's chair had come loose.

My child was able to sit down safely. Even though the breakfast area was crowded and busy on the weekend, the staff were always smiling and attentive. So kind.

Waffles with maple syrup.
Japanese dishes include boiled greens, soft-boiled eggs, and natto.

○Egg Dishes Booth: Eggs Prepared Right in Front of You
This is a rare opportunity to watch the hotel's chefs at work. They carefully shape the eggs with a silicone spatula.
A wide variety of seasonings are available, including ketchup, shiso tomato jam, Dijon mustard, and whole grain mustard.

I had the signature omelet. It features whitebait, bonito flakes, and shiitake mushrooms. A truly Japanese flavor.
A soft, runny omelet, perfect for a delicious half-cooked meal.

Eggs Benedict.
Eggs and yellow sauce served on a small muffin. Garnished with green and red garnishes, it adds a touch of color. A truly photogenic dish.
The yolk melts when you cut into it.

○The Westin Yokohama's Original Curry
A curry with the savory flavor and sourness of tomatoes. It's not too spicy, so even those who don't like spicy food can rest assured.
I love curry, and just hearing about curry at a hotel gets me excited.

Maybe because Christmas is coming up, there was a Moët & Chandon sign on the table. Champagne in the morning is amazing.

○It's rare to find a cheese corner in a breakfast area.
Camembert, smoked cheese, cheddar, gouda, pearl mozzarella. I'm happy with the wide variety.

○Cereal corner
Brown rice flakes, rice crispies, gluten-free cereal, raisins, cranberries, flax seeds, walnuts.
Healthy and gorgeous.

○Drink corner
Fresh grapefruit juice, fresh orange juice.
Lavender honey lemonade, mixed berry smoothie. Wow, so chic. The kind that actresses drink. A real treat for the morning.

It was a very satisfying breakfast.
If my stomach could handle it, I would try everything.
I'll save the dishes I didn't get to try for next time.

○Since it's a hotel restaurant, I'm sure many of you are looking for a place to stay.

Below is my review of my stay at the Westin Yokohama. For your reference.

The Westin Yokohama.
The day before my stay, I realized I needed a swim ring for the pool, so I called the hotel.

I asked if it was okay to have my Amazon delivery address sent to the hotel, and they gladly agreed.

I was told to write a note with my check-in date, my full name, and a note saying "attach it to the concierge desk."

Their responsiveness to unexpected situations and requests shows the high level of their staff. It's truly a luxury hotel.

Now that I think of it, this is the first time I've heard the word "attach it." "Are you talking about dressing?" I blurted out something completely nonsensical. I'm glad I didn't pretend to know and send it to them dressing up. It's embarrassing to ask, but embarrassing not to ask, as they say.

I also asked if they had toddler pajamas, and they said they had small sizes for 90-110cm. They confirmed my age and said they'd prepare some kids' amenities. I appreciated their thoughtfulness.

Check-in is on the 23rd floor, not the first. The green decorations behind the front desk are nice.

○Christmas Tree
It's an elegant tree with a blue base. It's decorated with white flowers, and the ribbons on the gift boxes are elegant.

○The restrooms also have a luxurious feel. A black matte bowl with a silver automatic dispenser. The base is marble. Marble is elegant, and I can see why it's been loved for so long.
When I was younger, I thought it had a classic feel, but as I've gotten older, I've come to appreciate it more. Good things are truly timeless.

○The interior decor is elegant and sophisticated.
There's a glamping-style space that's perfect for photos, and large floral arrangements.
A beautiful flame burning in a glass box. I was tempted and approached, but they said, "Welcome!" Oops, it was a cafe. Excuse me.

○The room has no clear boundary between the entrance floor and the room floor, with hardwood flooring from the entrance. As a Japanese person, I was unsure where to take off my shoes. It's very stylish.
There's a white ceramic moon-shaped object on the floor, casting a shadow from the sunlight filtering through the trees. It's lovely. I really like this wooden table; I'd love to have one in my house.

The moss object on the white marble side table gives off a Japanese feel.

I was impressed that the curtains open and close automatically with the push of a button.

The shower head in the bathroom is large. There's also a shower that pours water from the ceiling.
Enjoy feeling like a Hollywood actor. Be careful when operating it so you don't get splashed with cold water. Splashing cold water from the ceiling is just a joke.

I love this slim, stylish scale.
If you're having trouble buying everyday items, it might be a good idea to stay at a hotel and ask where the item was purchased.
Everything is lovely, and it could serve as inspiration for your own interior design.

The bathroom door is made of frosted glass. This is the luxury apartment where the main character of the drama lives.

Even the closet is made of wood, which is nice. I'd love to live in a room like this.

The welcome water is served in a sustainable, reusable glass bottle. It's more stylish than plastic bottles.

The coffee is Nespresso capsules.
Arpeggio, Capriccio, Tokyo Lungo, and Voluto Decaf. They have a variety of stylish flavors.

Wine glasses and a sommelier knife. The tumblers are also stylish; just adding water seems to enhance the flavor.

The kids' pajamas are cute too.
White shadow stripes with navy piping. There's a towel handkerchief with the same design.
The children's slippers have a sheep's face on them.

There's a lavender balm by the pillow for a good night's sleep. It's said to help you sleep better.

Announcement of Christmas cake. A strawberry cake with a reindeer face inside. Limited quantity of 7.
This is so elaborate, it's like entering a confectionery contest.

Room service can be ordered via mobile.
They offer wine, champagne, fruit platters, and snacks, and of course, a children's menu is appreciated.

Children's pancakes: ¥1,086
Children's sandwich: ¥1,045
Children's grilled fish: ¥1,045
Children's omelet: ¥884
A 13% service charge and 10% consumption tax apply.

Each dish has just the right amount and selection for a toddler.
The person who designed the menu really understands the needs of picky eaters.

My child's toothbrush had gone missing and I couldn't find it anywhere. I had no choice but to call the intercom and they said they would bring it to my room. I was planning to pick it up from the front desk, so I'm very sorry.

The person who called me by name right from the start called me. I guess the room number and name are linked.
I know I shouldn't be asking for it, but honestly, it made me feel really good.

After a fun night, we checked out.
The parking lot was lined with Aston Martins, Ferraris, and a host of other luxury cars.
There's a Rolls-Royce dealership next to the hotel, and this whole area is like another dimension.
I wonder what kind of VIPs are staying there?

A parking staff member noticed us and asked us for our parking ticket, so we replied that we were taking the train and would walk to Ishikawacho.
We passed by and, at the hotel entrance, checked Google Maps to see if it was the right way, and started to turn right,
but the same parking staff member called out from a distance, "It's quicker to go on the left side instead."
He politely gave us directions, saying, "Go left, turn right and cross."
When we followed the directions, we came across a railroad crossing and were able to cross the tracks. I see, this is definitely faster.
This is more human kindness than Google Maps. They're also kind and gentle to regular customers who aren't VIPs. After I was feeling a little depressed after seeing the luxury cars, their kindness really touched my heart.

Thanks to this staff member, I instantly became a fan of Westin Hotels.

The room rate for two adults and one infant was 81,479 yen per night.

At first glance, the price may seem intimidating, but once you stay there, you'll be very satisfied and understand that it's a price you won't regret.

As you become an adult, you have less free time and fewer opportunities to travel. Quality over quantity.

Above all, the extraordinary feeling you get is priceless.
