日曜の19時半、目指していった店が満席、近辺を歩き良さそうな店を見つけました。
見るからに鶏もも焼の老舗で名店感が漂ってます。
店内に入ると先客1名、混んでると思いきや、やや肩透かし状態。
入口に近いカウンターに通されると、うちは料理が2品しかないんですよとの声がけに、メニューを見ると確かに鶏もも、鶏皮のつきだしのみ。
じゃ両方下さいと答え、焼酎のお湯割りも頼む。
鶏皮のつきだしは、器に刻み海苔が山程盛られ、肝心の鶏皮が全く見えず。
海苔をかき分け鶏皮を食べると、歯ごたえ良く、ちょっと酸っぱく旨味が凝縮してる。
海苔と一緒に食べるて味変しても楽しめる。
もも焼きはカットしてもらう様にお願いし、一口サイズに切られ食べやすい。
歯ごたえ抜群、香ばしく旨味も抜群。
鶏皮と脂が最高に美味いし、骨にかぶりついてレア感がある肉もとても美味しく、時間を掛けて食べました。
焼酎のお湯割りは税込一杯275円。
前割りで前日から割っているのでマイルドだそう。
割合聞いたらろくよんで、さすが酒飲みの気持ちが分かってる。
店のロゴマークは赤塚不二夫が描いたそうで、店内にも至る所にイラスト入り色紙が飾られ、如何にも老舗の名店感が溢れ出る。
お店には意外にも外国からのお客さんが数組入店。
いい店ですよねって話しかけたい気分になりました。
