Had lunch at BONSAI 1877, a renovated traditional Kyoto townhouse. We ordered a classic Margherita pizza baked in a wood-fired oven and a seasonal pasta.
The pizza had a beautiful charred crust, with a perfect balance of milky mozzarella and fresh tomato sauce. The pasta featured seasonal vegetables like corn and green peppers — light but full of flavor.
Calm atmosphere, great for a slow lunch in Kyoto. Nice spot for couples, friends, or even solo dining.

ピッツァは縁が香ばしく、チーズのミルキーさとトマトの酸味がバランス良くてシンプルにおいしい。
京都らしい落ち着いた空間で、ゆっくり食事ができるのも魅力。
