とても真っ当な、それでいて時には意表を突く料理を出してくれる居酒屋さん。
札幌薄野の名店、「味重 はなれ」https://tabelog.com/hokkaido/A0101/A010103/1010337/の大将・松原さんの薫陶を受け、さまざまな料理修行を経て自前のお店を開いたマンボウさん。
10月に味重はなれにお邪魔したとき、大将が太鼓判を押してくれたお店です。
妻と二人、夕方4時のオープンと同時に入店。
カウンター6席のみの小さなお店ですが、ご夫婦で切り盛りしていて、気配り満点。
ご主人とその日のお勧めや私どもの好みなどを話しながらも、お料理の手は止まりません。
出てくるお料理一品毎に丁寧な心遣いが伝わり、そして胃の中へするりと飲み込まれています。そして心もホッコリと・・・
この日に頂戴したお料理、全て絶品でしたが、特に驚いたのは鰺フライと、揚げアボカドと辛み大根。鰺フライはまるで刺身にフライの衣を纏わせた感じ。そしてアボカドを脂で素揚げするなんて・・・素敵な発想。帆立のしんじょ・蕪餡寄せでは、味重はなれを思い出させる味。
二人でビール中瓶1本と日本酒をコップで5杯。
次回は何をお願いしようか、メニューとにらめっこをしながらお店を後にしました。
