「ミシュラン東京」2008年版に掲載されなければ、たとえあの元防衛事務次官が使っていた店だとしても、知らぬまま終わったでしょう。その意味で、他の評者とは違うミーハーなσ(^^)。川上音二郎の妻・貞奴の置屋「濱田家」が1912年に開業した老舗料亭、以外の詳細は、他の店評を見てください。
でσ(^^)ごとき庶民が自腹でこの店に入るとなると、給料日後の昼しかありません。そんな一見客歴然?の我々にも、この料亭はもてなしの粋を示してくれました。もちろん値段は高い。普通の店と比較すればCPは著しく悪い気がします。しかしここはその辺のファストフードとは違う“生きた文化遺産”なのです。それを心すれば、紹介のない庶民にも門戸を開いて、一見客?だと侮らずに真っ向から料亭文化の一端に触れる機会を与えてくれたことに対するCPは、決して低くはありません。有難いことです。文化とは本来庶民とは隔絶され守られてこそ、後代まで受け継がれていくもの。そのための「一見お断り」だとは、よく祇園のお茶屋で聞かされましたが、料亭なのに来る者を包み込みその啓蒙してしまう店の姿勢ゆえ、ミシュランで星を呼び込んだのかなと思えました。
