【焼鳥百名店2022】
前回予約していたのに急な出張で泣く泣く行けなかったおみ乃本店。ようやく今回訪れることが出来ました。
実は押上初上陸だった私。真下から初めてスカイツリー見ました。
おみ乃は本店に先駆けて神谷町店を訪れていました。最近の高級焼鳥店のような気を衒った一品は一切なし、実直な串焼きで直球勝負というのが印象に残っておりました。今回もそれに期待して訪問しました。
お店は押上駅から徒歩で5分弱のところに静かに位置しています。入店しそこから15分ほどで2回転目のお客さん全員が揃いましたが満席でした。
おまかせコースはストップと言うまで出て来ます。せっかくなので色々と試したくて頑張れるところまでいきました。今回はこんな内容でした。

印象的だった串は、
・衝撃的な美味しさだったつくね。塩加減最高、他店ではあまり使わないレモンを絞ると抜群に合うということを発見
・弾力しっかり、ゴリゴリした食感の手羽元
・しっかり肉が付いており軟骨ながらも肉をしっかり楽しめるやげん軟骨
・圧倒的なタレの旨さを感じる、甘辛で七味と合わせると更に引き立つかしわ
・肉の食感と粒マスタード合うそり
でした。
加えて、野菜串の豊富さも面白さがあり、バランスの良さを感じました。
真面目な焼鳥は素材の選び方、火の入れ方、塩加減、タレの味わい全てが一流。意外性を求めることは野暮で、ストレート勝負を挑んでくるピッチャーには大振りで立ち向かうのが良いということを感じさせてくれました。
レベルの高さを体感出来る、素敵な経験でした。
