Personal review: Located near Hiyoshi station, this curry shop was selected in the top 100 curry shops for 2019 and 2020. I went around 5:30pm and there was only one other customer waiting for takeout. By 6pm, the place was a little over half full, but seats are limited. My selection, the spiciest Beef Curry. You can also get a large rice for free, but I went for their standard portion this time. The wait time wasn't long and the first thing you'll notice is the spice. The curry fits more of a western curry, but the spice is one of those painful spice like those found in Thai and Indonesia. Don't know why, but even if the tongue hurts, I couldn't stop eating more. If you don't have a high tolerance, no worries, they also offer non-spicy dishes. Definitely on the unique end of curry, a very nice place to enjoy various spices!
【感想】日吉の駅近にあるこちらのカレー店は百名店にも選ばれた名店の一つです。５時半過ぎに訪問したらテイクアウトを待つ人が一人だけでしたが、食べ終わる時には11席の内半分くらい埋まっていました。選択は辛さで知られているビーフカレーとお勧めの目玉焼き！お店の人が辛いよ～っと忠告してくれました。ご飯の大盛も可能ですが今回は普通にしておきました。
料理は数分で出てきて色んなスパイスを使っていることもあり香りが印象的でした。見た目は欧風カレーよりだけどスパイスは東南アジアで出てくるような痛旨タイプです。とにかく痛いのにもう一口食べたくなる美味しいカレーです。辛さが苦手な人はまずはマイルドカレーでスパイスを楽しんでみてください！
