Personal review: Although I am a cheesecake fan, if I am told that banana cake is the recommendation, why would I object? This cafe is located next to a soba restaurant with the same name. The cafe itself is slightly hidden, beyond some stone path. The staff also seems to be working at both joints so you'll have to push a button to get their attention. As you can probably tell from the picture, the first impression of the banana cake is the frosting, which is light and not that sweet. The banana cake reminded me of the US, the sweetness of banana mixed into the cake making it the perfect companion to an afternoon coffee. If you plan to visit the Buddhist temple in Kamakura, consider this place as one of your afternoon snack spot! 【感想】普段はチーズケーキ派なのですが、バナナケーキがお勧めと聞いたら素直に従います(笑) こちらのカフェは松原庵(そば屋)と隣接していて、少し隠れています。店内の席数は少なく、店員さんもそば屋と兼任しているのかボタンで呼ぶ方式になっていました。注文は噂のバナナケーキとコーヒーのセット、注文してからそんなに待たずに出てきました。写真でもお分かり頂けると思いますが、第一印象はホイップ！フワフワだけど甘さは控えめであくまでバナナケーキが主役(見た目は座を奪われたかもしれないけど)。そのバナナケーキは久々に食べたけどバナナの程良い甘さがアメリカにいたころを思い起こす美味しさでした。コーヒーとの相性も抜群でゆったり楽しむには最高でした！
