コースは、4つの価格帯から選べますが、今回は11,000円の一番リーズナブルなコースと+個室で予約しました。
和久傳の名前が入った竹酒器に入った日本酒から、手元の青竹盃にすっきりした味わいの冷酒が注がれ、お料理がスタート。
最初に出てきた一品は、賀茂茄子とじゅんさいのスープ。目にも美しい桑の葉に、祇園祭で使われる疫病除けの護符が乗せられており、京都の名店ならではの演出。
その後もかき氷に盛り付けられた梅肉と山葵でいただく「鱧落とし」や、旬の琵琶湖産の鮎が塩焼きに加え、みょうがと味噌の味付けが絶妙なクレープに包まれて登場!するなど、初夏の季節を感じる食材を使ったお料理が続きました。
御飯は、和久傳創業の地で育てられた無農薬栽培のお米を土鍋で炊き上げてくれます。
そして、まだまだ料理は続き、名物の鴨はイチジクの天ぷらと共に、大和蛤のお椀は滋味深いお出汁を味わっていただきます。
そしてシメは3種類から選べるのですが、全種類の注文も可能という大盤振る舞い。初めてでしたので迷わず3種類を注文。鯖寿司は赤酢が控えめで好みの味付け。鱧の卵とじ丼は、卵のふわトロ具合と甘辛いでソース絡めた揚げた鱧のハーモニーが抜群。じゅんさいの乗ったソーメンもあっさりと〆にふさわしい一品でした。
このクオリティと品数でこの値段は想像を超えておりました。京都老舗料亭の底力とサービス精神に感服したまさに名店でした!
