2017夏 安芸の宮島と「おいでませ山口へ」の旅<第1日>
うえのであなごめしをいただき、よい気分のままフェリーで宮島桟橋に到着。
これからフェリーに乗りますと電話をしておくと、荷物をピックアップしてもらえるのはありがたいです。
手ぶらで島内観光して、夕方チェックイン。
本館に宿泊するスタンダードプラン(2人1室1人25,920円)を予約しておきました。
とおされたのは紅葉の間。昭和初期の本格的な和風建築はとても趣があります。
もみじ谷と向き合っているので、紅葉の季節はさぞや美しいことでしょう。

穴子にモッツァレラをあわせるのはどうかな~とは思ったものの、それ以外はとても美味しくいただきました。
対岸の廿日市市の蔵元の純米発泡清酒「一代弥山スパークリング」もうまかった~。
朝食は新館の食事処で、和定食+ビュッフェ形式の洋食。
外国人のお客様が多いのでこんなスタイルになっているのでしょうね。
「島内随一の格式を誇る温泉宿」と謳うだけあって、とても快適にすごすことができました。
いつかまた、紅葉の季節に訪れたいものです。
