名古屋の地下鉄久屋大通駅から西に400mほどに今年2月にOPENしたお寿司屋さんです。
伝馬町通りと呉服町通りの交差点の東側にある第二桜ビルの3階です。
いつも名古屋出張の際に食事をご一緒している仲良し女子と伺いました。
実は店主が以前店長をしていて、すでに閉店している「すしまるかい」も彼女に教えてもらったんです。

店内はカウンター9席です。目の前にカウンターと同じ高さの調理スペースです♪
6名が座れるテーブル席もありますが、ここは喫煙スペースで食事はできません。
BGMは店主がお好きなYOSHIKIのクラシック。オサレですね♪
【カウンター禁煙】
分煙という表現が正しいかどうかわかりませんので、「カウンター禁煙」としました。
基本的に食事をするのはカウンターのみで、ここは禁煙です。
喫煙できるのは後ろ側にあるテーブルのみですが、ここでは食事ができません。
さてまずは生ビール、彼女は飲めないのでウーロン茶で乾杯です。
彼女は両手で乾杯してましたよ。大学時代の後輩の女性以来です(^^)
コースは4種類です。
厳選10貫握り5000円・おまかせコース6000円・8000円・12000円です。
今回は8000円のおまかせコースにしました。
内容は、先付・お造り5点盛・酒肴・焼物・握り7貫・巻物・赤だしです。
●先付
厚焼き玉子・うに豆腐・大きなタコの吸盤が出されます。
●お造り5点盛
「盛」になってますが、実際には1点ずつ出してくれます。
・たい・・・モチモチです
・とり貝・・・鶏肉の食感ですがサッパリしてます
・のどぐろ炙り・・・香りが抜群でとっても美味しい
・活たこ・・・コリコリの新鮮食感です
・初鰹・・・見るからに美味しそうでしたがプリプリのトロトロです
●酒肴
・蒸し鮑の肝がけ・・・濃厚な肝がかかっていて風味も良く蒸し鮑の食感もコリプリ。
●焼物
・金目鯛と万願寺唐辛子・・・ホクホクの金目鯛がとにかく美味しい。
●握り
・いか・・・プリプリしていて美味しい。
・時しらず・・・この時期の脂の乗ったトロトロの鮭です。美味しい!
・あづき鱒(きじはた)のこぶしめ・・・昆布の風味がほんのり出て妙味がありますね。
・天然インドまぐろ・・・もっちりした食感がたまりません。
・インドまぐろの漬け・・・こちらはしっとりとしてとがった印象です。
・くるま海老・・・出汁に浸けた甘い海老は口の中で踊っているようです。
・焼あなご・・・香りも口当たりも最高に美味しい。
●巻物
・トロの巻物・・・ジュワ~っとした味わいが美味しいのですが、
お尻を海苔で閉めているのが凄い、反対側から出ないように工夫してます。
●赤だし
・しじみの赤だし・・・しじみがいっぱい入ってます。赤だしは濃くなくちょうどいい。
とっても美味しくいただきました。
今回はワインを合わせてみました。
白ワイン・スパークリングワイン・赤ワインとグラスで3種類でしたが、
どれもサッパリした飲み口でお寿司にピッタリという感じでした。
店主がサービス精神旺盛で、いろいろと教えてくれたり、同じ高さの調理場なので
目の前で丁寧な仕事ぶりを見せてくれるので楽しい時間を過ごすことができました♪
またぜひ伺いたいと思える素敵なお店でした(^^)/
ちなみにお寿司屋さんとしては珍しいアルファベットの店名”Kugi”についてですが、
店主のお名前から一部を取ってつけたそうです。
聞いてみれば「なぁ~んだ」ですね(^^)
でもこの発想からお客さんと一体化した劇場型の”Sushi Dining”が生まれているような気がします♪
美味しく楽しませてくれるお店です。
