平日のディナー訪問。
笹塚駅南口の裏通りに面しながらも駅から徒歩3分もかからないアクセスの良い立地のこちらのお店、予約を入れて午後7時に訪問、カウンター席へ。カウンター10席、4名卓x2、5-6名卓x1の店内は予約席を含めて満席、予約無しの後客が入店を断られていた。メニューは、鶏串焼き200円~300円、串盛りおまかせ5本980円~10本1,980円、一品物は鶏菜380円~、地鶏刺し780円、温冷菜380円~、当月のおすすめ鶏料理480円~のほか、馬刺しや鰻蒲焼きといったプレミアム食材も用意されていてメニューバラエティは豊富、焼鳥屋ではあるがちょっとした割烹感も味わえる。
鶏軟骨梅肉和え480円、白れば醤油漬け580円、冷やしトマト480円、とりわさ780円、地鶏ふくらはぎ炭焼き580円、半熟うずら200円、膝なんこつ250円、はらみ250円、月見つくね(体内卵付き)300円、鶏だし茶碗むし780円を断続的に発注。
ドリンクは生ビール480円のあと、獺祭純米大吟醸45 1,080円を挟んで、焼酎へ移行。こちら焼酎のラインナップは豊富、芋、麦、米、黒糖の素材別のほか、芋はプレミアム、紅芋、淡麗、芳醇とカテゴリーが細分化されてのプレゼンテーションだけでなく、利き酒3種780円もオファーしていてチョイスに悩む辛党をサポート。飲み慣れた朝日(黒糖)580円から、焼きいも黒瀬580円をオーダーすると焼き芋の香りと甘さが濃厚に仕上がった美味しさに感動し杯を重ねる。あまりに美味かったので帰宅後に通販で焼きいも黒瀬一升瓶4本を発注。
そして地鶏ふくらはぎ炭焼きはやわらかく仕上がって量感もありコストパフォーマンスがすごい。また、膝なんこつは、軟骨のごつごつ食感が固いもの好きには堪えられない仕上がり。さらに牛ではおなじみだが鶏では初となるはらみや半熟うずらも美味い。〆めかわりに特に期待せずに追加発注した鶏だし茶碗蒸し、大振りの茶碗につくねや椎茸などの具と鶏卵出汁のコンビネーションが最高に美味しい。長崎の名店、吉宗の茶碗蒸しを彷彿とさせる品ではないか。思いがけずのバランスの取れた良店での食事にとても満足、中目黒に鳥屋 寿という姉妹店があるのでこちらもいずれ訪問してみたい、ごちそうさま。 (※⇒鳥屋 花 公式ウェブサイト)
